26” Bass drum was saved from nearly becoming firewood
and the end result was quite spectacular. Finished in a Danish
oil to bring out all the wonderful hidden grain, all the components
were hand polished and nickel-plated to complete its authentic
original look.

& Ludwig 15” Pala snare drum
This drum was painted white by my uncle when he was a boy! I
decided the drum should be restored to its former glory. The
lugs are still to be nickeled. |
Leedy 14” 8 lug originally built in 1946.
I bought it as a shell with missing Broadway parallel action,
rusted lugs damaged hoops. After several attempts to find an
original action, it was going to be more beneficial to make
this drum into a playable Jazz –Beauty! Finished in Black
Sparkle and Knickel Hardware, it looks as good as it sounds. |

| This Premier Orchestral bell set was missing
the entire damper system. A new system was built from top
to bottom. It now works better than the original.

| This Conga had seen better days!. So many scratches
through its lacquer, I decided to strip it right back to the
oak and give it a natural gloss finish…… Still in
progress. |
